One hundred per cent healthy water. If each HOMEPURE product is installed, operated and maintained to specification, it will deliver water that will be free from just about all known harmful contaminants.

There are many water filter systems on the market but as they depend on the filter alone, the resultant water varies in quality.

The HOMEPURE system not only filters, it sanitises the water you consume. The big difference is the unique world-patented silver anode which introduces silver ions at a controlled rate as water passes through the HOMEPURE system. It is these ions that keep your water and your unit free of disease carrying bacteria.

After this sanitising process takes place, the water moves into a large housing where an activated carbon cartridge removes organic pollutants such as chlorine, THM's (trihalomethanes - considered to be carcinogenic), pesticides, herbicides, bad taste, odour, and colour.

Without the silver safe process in the HOMEPURE system, or any system for that matter, the filtering process can become an active breeding ground for bacteria - the very reason you install a water purifying system in the first place.

TravelSafe Unit

Safe drinking water is now available wherever basic drinking water supplies can be found - anywhere in the world. The TravelSafe unit comes with instructions and includes an alkaline battery. The perfect gift for the world traveller.

Single Bench-Top Unit

Designed to be easily connected to any sink outlet, this unit is fitted with either a radial flow carbon cartridge to remove all bad tastes, odours, herbicides, pesticides and organic contaminants in chlorinated water supplies, or a ceramic and carbon cartridge which will also remove parasites, and most chemicals in non-chlorinated waters. The unit will provide high quality drinking water at a flow rate of up to three litres per minute. It requires a changeover power pack and new filter annually.

Single Under-Bench (In-Line) Unit

Similar to the Bench-Top model but the Under-Bench unit includes under-sink plumbing connections, non-return valve and a bench-top demand tap. Servicing is required once a year. Alternatively, with single or dual Under-Bench units, the tap may be deleted and the water supplied directly through the cold water sink tap.

Dual Under-Bench (In-Line) Unit

The Dual Under-Bench model is designed for permanent installation in non-chlorinated areas. This unit includes under sink plumbing connections, non-return valve and an on-bench demand tap. Servicing is required annually.

Whole-of-House Unit

The Whole-of-House unit can be installed following the mains inlet in existing buildings or, in the case of new building construction, selective plumbing can be fashioned to allow toilet and garden outlets to be by-passed. The unique SILVER SAFE POWER PACK (more technically known as the Electro-cathodic Particle Dislodgement unit or EPCD) sanitises water for bacteria control. A sediment cartridge removes solids, then a high capacity carbon cartridge removes organic contaminants such as chlorine, pesticides, herbicides tastes and odours. The unit is constructed with by-pass taps to allow servicing without interrupting the water supply to the building. Larger inlet and outlet fittings, along with a pressure limiting valve, are supplied to provide high volumes of water and efficient operation. Flow rate is up to 40 litres per minute permitting full flow to showers and laundry etc. External power through mains adaptor or battery allows for longer power pack life. Service is usually required annually. Depending on the contaminants in the water and the build up in the sediment filters, replacement filters are required annually or once the flow rate reduces to an inconvenient level.

Commercial and Industrial

Marine Unit

Similar to the Dual Under Bench model, the Marine Unit can be used in houseboats, cruisers, yachts or caravans with a water tank. The unit is connected in-line to the sink tap; there is no touch-tap or other plumbing. The flow rate is up to six litres per minute at 210 kPa (30 psi). Servicing is required annually. The Ceramic Filter can be scrubbed clean and is re-useable.

Laboratory Unit

The Bench-Top Triple Unit will produce de-ionised, chemical and mineral-free water for medical, dental, pharmaceutical or surgical purposes. The silver released from the SILVER SAFE POWER PACK sanitises the filter media. A ceramic cartridge removes sediment, rust particles, scale and other foreign matter, as well as bacteria and water-born parasitic organisms. Then two ion-exchange resin cartridges remove organic compounds and dissolved solids. A meter monitors the electrical conductivity of the water prior to the outlet tap. Flow rate is up to three litres per minute. The ion-exchange cartridges remain efficient for 700-1,000 litres before requiring service, depending on the conductivity of the water being treated. Servicing is required annually.

Under-Bench Chiller Unit

A single Under-Bench Unit fitted to a commercial chiller unit. It is installed with under-sink plumbing connections, stop-valve and bench-top demand tap. The unit is ideal for staff rooms, offices or any situation where chilled water is required at a sink. An added feature is the control of the unit. The chiller unit can be turned off during seasonal changes without losing the benefit of fresh filtered and sanitised water.

Free-Standing Chiller Unit

A single Under-Bench Unit for refilling, or replacing, traditional bottled water dispensers. This unit allows for filtered and sanitised water to be delivered in open areas such as reception areas, entrance foyers and similar situations. The many benefits include protection from disease-causing bacteria present in traditional water bottles - and often forgotten - in the chiller unit itself.

Multi-Stage Disinfection Unit

Initially designed and tested to eliminate bacterial, viral and fungal growth in golf course maintenance, this unit is now being developed for applications in dairies, piggeries, blood-stock breeding facilities, export meat cool rooms, nurseries and plant farms. This unit has four SILVER SAFE ELECTRODES and a peroxide oxygenating dispenser. These are powered externally by an adjustable transformer to accommodate the various applications. It is operated on 3/4" hose connections and new switching technology allows self-cleaning of the silver anodes in the power pack. The applications for this compact and portable unit are unlimited.

Recreational Water Supply Disinfection Unit

This Pool and Spa Unit replaces all chemicals currently used in pool and spa treatment and allows users to swim in fresh, safe and chlorine-free water. The unit is installed after the normal pool (or spa) filter and pump and is able to be regulated for most pool and spa sizes. The resultant water maintains its pH value giving a totally friendly bathing environment. Small trace quantities of copper are also introduced to maintain algae control. The running time is similar to that required with conventional pool treatments, however, running costs are reduced.

Industrial Water Disinfection Unit

Designed for water cooling towers to eliminate disease-carrying bacteria including the Legionella virus. It is similar to the Recreational Water Supply Unit and has world-wide applications. This unit will be of particular benefit in small communities and developing countries as well as disaster-devastated areas throughout the world.

Many people take their water quality for granted but the water we drink and use for food preparation varies vastly in quality from country to country and area to area.

The contaminants in city and suburban reticulated water supplies often include bacteria and viruses, parasitic organisms, chlorine, asbestos fibres, rust and scale from pipes, and filter sediment.

Non-reticulated water supplies come from many sources such as dams, wells, underground bores, tank-gathered rain water and rivers. In most cases these supplies have very little quality surveillance and may be unsuitable for human consumption.

Many industries and recreational facilities can be affected enormously by water quality: water cooling towers (air-conditioning), market gardens, food processing and packaging, dairies, golf courses (green treatment and irrigation), hospitals, milk treatment, soft drink manufacture, brewing, public swimming pools - the list is endless.

As our population increases, as demand grows on reticulated and natural water supplies, as quality expectations rise in an age of increased ecological awareness, concern about the quality of our tap water increases daily.

An Australian inventor understood that silver has always been known as a powerful antiseptic.

His awe at the potential of silver in the sanitising process led him to research and discover an efficient, economical and safe method of using it to rid water of contaminants without sacrificing its health qualities in normal consumption.
